This brand new client are one of the UK's leading players in the manufacturing and distribution industry with a growing base of leading-name clients on their books.
Our client are seeking a CAD Technician to join the team and produce accurate and timely CAD drawings.

Working for a small close-knit team you must be comfortable working for a small business and have the personality to fit in with the team. The successful candidate will be a pro-active, creative character who will come in and make the role their own.

Responsibilities:
  • Create quality detailed technical drawings for customers
  • Use a variety of CAD software programmes to create models
  • Liaise with designers, engineers and architects to understand their needs
  • Provide technical advice to technicians
  • Provide detailed and accurate drawings
  • Calculate costs for each individual project
  • Present work to customers and senior management team
  • Keep record of all details for each project
  • Offer a first class service to all customers


Requirements:
  • AutoCAD experience and creating design within the manufacturing sector is a must
  • Knowledge of engineering with the ability to read drawings
  • Creative mind and pro-active approach to all tasks
  • Positive and enthusiastic
  • Confident and clear communicator both verbally and written
  • Well organised team player
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Account Management ability
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
